Our Mission

Students rarely get to face open-ended challenges, make decisions, fail, and rebuild in school settings.

Hackathons help bring that missing layer into schools. They turn theory into action, give students ownership of their ideas, and replace rote learning with experience.

Our mission is simple: to bring this kind of learning into schools around the world. Every school, every student, not just those with resources or elite programs, should be able to host hackathons.

About Us

Aethra is a student-run initiative that aims to bring Hackathons to secondary schools around the world. We partner with schools to host internal hackathons that are designed exclusively for students and managed completely by our team.

We understand that schools are always looking for new ways to engage students beyond the classroom. Organizing large-scale extracurricular events can be difficult to balance with academic priorities. Aethra makes it simple by handling every part of the hackathon process, including setup, registration, judging, and certificates.
