Seven programmes. 2,340+ participants. 30 countries. Each one pairs two different fields on purpose. A Gamethon is game design plus a hackathon. A Brandathon is visual identity plus communication. Here is the full lineup.
Our flagship programme for zero-to-one ideas. Interdisciplinary teams build something new from scratch, bringing different fields into the same brief instead of iterating on what already exists. 636 people took part, with support from MongoDB Atlas, CodeCrafters, and Iteration Machine.
Where Aethra began. Open to any background, it asked people to take a concept from one field and pair it with the craft of pitching it well, so the idea and the argument had to travel together.
An open-track build weekend. Teams joined engineering with whatever second discipline their project actually needed, with no single lane forced on what they could make.
Game design meets a hackathon. Designers, storytellers, and engineers spent 48 hours shipping a playable game together, not a concept deck or a slide mock.
Aesthetics and engineering in one brief. Taste and execution counted alongside technical depth, so form and function had to be built as one piece of work.
Visual identity and the story behind it, made in the same weekend. Teams treated communication as a craft of its own, not decoration added after the design.
Take a concept from any field and make the case for it. The programme treats clear explanation as part of the work itself, not an afterthought once the idea exists.
